My mother spent her last 9 days here. I have no complaints. She was turned and cleaned every few hours. Her pain meds were always administered on time. The doctor, I have not enough words to say how grateful I am..He sat on the couch and wanted to hear about her, why we came to the decision to let her go. He reassured me about the decision. Visitors were not restricted, there was a pull out bed if we wanted to stay. I just went through this with my Dad at Seasons Hospice, and this was much better. THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. Poor patients are left in horrible condition unless they have a visitor. Patients sit on their feces for hours as well as our covered in bed sores since staff doesn't follow Doctor orders. God forbid you ask a question the attitude you receive back is overwhelming. Please I beg all DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED TO MELEECH IN TAMPA. They even have on going investigation for fraud and other things. Simply Google it and you will see!

My Husband was here for less than 24 hours before he passed and I was very disappointed with the lack of care and compassioned we received. It was a beautiful room and very quiet but that is all that I can recommend. Received a phone call a week later to pick up his personal items left there, we did not bring anything and he was not there long enough to require any items, but I proceeded to drive there to pick up the items. My sister Gina was at Melech House October 3 - October 7, 2014. My sister passed on October 7. Several of the nurses: Maureen, Ann, and Erica were excellent. However, if your loved one is there when a young black nurse named Marie P. is there....your loved one will die a horrible death like my sister. The nurse Marie P. didn't even try to help my sister who was having seizures, high temp., she said that she had given all the medicine she could.
