Love this hair salon. I have natural hair, this place is awesome. They check you in, get you seated and get you out. Staff is very friendly :)

I just had the opportunity to have my hair cut and hightlighted at Meldora Hair Salon. It was my FIRST time getting any hair color, so I was nervous going in. The staff, including my wonderful stylist Stephanie, made me feel so at ease about the entire process. She kept me constantly informed about what she was putting on my hair and what the final outcome would be. In my experience with salons, the egoes would come first and then the service. However, when I went into Meldora Hair Salon the customer service was the best. I went in for a consultation and showed the stylist (Stephanie) a picture of what I wanted. That went great. The next day I came back and received my service, which was a layered cut. She nailed it!!!! The salon is walking distance from my house, there is no place like Decatur.

I am not usually someone who rants and raves about places especially when it come hair salons being that it is not a place I usually go to. I stopped into Meldora Hair Salon when I was on my way to work. I usually shave my own head but I had let it grow too long and my boss would send me home if it was not cut. I was able to get my haircut right away.
