I have been to many MSO experiences and they are always a world class orchestra. They also have something for everyone with their movie concerts, classical masterpieces and modern works. They also offer great membership options for students and u35s in particular that really allow people to get a taste of what they have to offer and experience they might not get otherwise with the cost
Want to buy tickets to an MSO concert? BE AWARE that if you can't attend for any reason and ask for a refund, you will NOT get your money back! You can return your ticket to the MSO box office. They will happily sell them a second time to pocket money twice.
The Music of Joe Hisaishi – 8 Nov 2025 Oh my shattered heart. A beautiful performance, just missing a key part of the story. A beautiful concert overall. The MSO played with deep care and balance, and the sound throughout was hypnotic. Conductor Nicholas Buc offered helpful context between pieces, and the program flowed smoothly. Pianist Aura Go was a particular highlight. Her playing was expressive and grounded without ever feeling showy. She was genuinely wonderful to watch and with a clear and deep passion for Hisaishi.
