My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma on april 14 2013 ts a battle everyday for him and we need to make more people aware of this so they can get checked sooner and how important it is
My father was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma (stage 4) on December 12, 2013. He passed away on January 28, 2014. I bugged him for years to get different issues with his skin checked out, but he always insisted that everything was fine. It turns out that every mark/blemish I tried to get him to seek attention for was in fact melanoma. This cancer is extremely vicious. Please take precautions while in the sun and get skin abnormalities checked out sooner than later.
Job well done
