So impressed. We had taken my son to two other eye doctors in the past that moved or retired. They were ok. But Dr. Schmitt, amazing. My son’s vision is improving and her skills and the technicians skills are at another level. We drive 2 1/2 hours to make the appointment and I’m not going anywhere else. I hope she doesn’t move.
This doctor was terrible. Absolutely rude, and didn't know how to help a patient with issues in her specialty and had the gall to tell me it was my fault because the issues are rare. And then told me it was just stress. She dismissed my ask for help from the disabilities coordinators at my college in a very mean way that implied she thought I was very much overreacting to how this was affecting my life. She sees both of my kids. She's very caring and really listens. She did an operation on my son and i was very comfortable with her. She's usually booked for months but my kids suffer from different conditions, so she always manages to see them no matter how booked she is. I just appreciate everything she does. Our daughter sees Dr Schmitt. She explains things well and very easy to talk to. Busy clinic and does take time to get into and appointment. Staff at Lions Pedriatric Clinic great as well.
Great ophthalmologist my son loves her! She’s very good at explaining everything in detail. She’s performed both of his eye surgeries and we have perfect results! I’d recommend her to anyone. She (as well as most specialists) take awhile to get into once our appointment day came we were warned with our reminder call it would be a long one being the first one but it wasn’t a bad wait at all.
