My requested Maple Bar is apparently a West Coast item but the staff customized an excellent version! Yum.
The ambience...well, it's not there at all. And, the place was like a storage locker! IOW, did they forget to pay the heat bill??? And, the surly woman behind the counter-yikes! Oh, and lest we forget about all the runners stopping by for their doughnut fix...they stunk up the place. Tables were not cleaned either. It's not the kind of place to linger over a warm cup 'o joe!
Always great! Tasty sweets for any craving and the staff is amazing! We love going there, I personally love their Apple Fritter, get it every time.
I had two cups of the BEST coffee yesterday at Mel-O-Glaze. The only place I've ever had a cup of coffee this good, was in Vienna, Austria, at a fancy Konditorei. I just asked for a regular cup of coffee, and got this wonderfully delicious "pour-over" in a pretty cup with a saucer! Excellent Coffee Mel-O-Glaze! I also had a small mountain of addicting donut holes and the yummiest raspberry filled sugared doughnut.
Stopped by today as a part of a rally event and was told to take a picture with an employee. The kind owner allowed us to help make donuts and gave us some delicious treats. These cookies melt in your mouth! Thank you.
I stopped in over the weekend...the doughnuts are just to die for!!! Yummy!!! I also stopped at the coffee bar and I orerded a carmel frppee...soooooo much better then the crap at Caribou or Starbucks...and the guy who made my drink provided me with the best customer servie that I have ever had!!! My recommendation is to try the apple fritters and a carmel frappee...you will not be disappointed ;)
