Daniel and the Muncie Shop is great. Hartford City where my service started is the reason it wasn't 5 stars
I’ve had 2+ years of good service and good oil changes at Meineke in Muncie, but this one was my last. I had an appointment but they were 1+ hour behind schedule. Fine. That happens. But then the manager refused to complete the oil change without first doing an “oil flush” because it was 1k miles overdue. This wasn’t a safety issue, it was an upsell that I didn’t want. I appreciate the technicians who have always done a great job, but this shop has turned too aggressive in their upselling for my liking.
DO NOT GO THIS PLACE FOR REPAIRS!!!Worst mechanics ever. I was even assured they had a someone w 40 yrs experience. Refused to work on my vehicle because it was making too many noises. Not true. Took it there while 3hrs from home for heavy clunking cv axel after getting off highway. Now I have to find somewhere else on Monday. They were polite but the opposite of helpful, lazy. Can give no stars so it gets a 1.
I've been here a couple times. Every time I come in or even call on the phone, whoever is at the front desk is lowkey rude to me. Everything is super expensive and they charge for a simple inspection - which most other autoshops dont charge for. Just go somewhere else and save money.
