Long lines and only 3 cashiers open on a Sunday evening. I waited at least 20-25 minutes in line to pay for groceries. The cashier was very kind and going as fast as she could. When the wait time is long, managemshpuldnopen more lines.

I appreciate the one-stop shopping experience when I was preparing 6 gallons of Gumbo for my Family Reunion. Meijer came up short on the whole Crawfish, crawfish tail meat, and (GASP!) Gumbo Filé. Had to shop at another local store to find those items. Customer service could use an upgrade as well. If Meijer staff could assist local caterers when shopping, they’d get a lot more daily business.

First time I decided to try Lactaid ice cream today and it’s expiration date was for 3/31/18. It’s not the first time I had to let management know about expired products.

I am a couponer and I was very disappointed to be told I could only use 1 coupon per transaction. I showed the manager the store policy and he said he didn’t follow corporate rules. Well today was the last day of the sale, the shelves were well stocked and I wasn’t clearing any shelves. The manager also said he could limit the amount of money that I spend in his store. Marianos here I come and by the way I only wanted to use 2 coupons on 6 items. My plan was to do 2 transactions, so a total of 4 coupons would have been used.... read more
