This is my honest review of Meidl Honda. Simply a story that others and hopefully the dealership will read. I purchased a used 2020 Volkswagen Passat from Meidl Honda February 15th of 2025. I trusted the sales rep and that the extended warranty would provide real protection and peace of mind. I drove the vehicle for only about 14,000 km for less than one year before experiencing a catastrophic engine failure at approximately 134,000 km that required a full engine replacement. Very very bad experience at this Honda showroom with Sales person. On first day we liked a car and they fixed the price and everything and then at very next day when we went there in evening the person told us some other sales person has already taken deposit for this car. Oh My God what is this behaviour like seriously very very bad experience. If you have to do this then you should inform us about this why we’re coming at your place from a far distance and you’re doing this.
Honda vehicle are good. But I got a block heater which is tripping GFI's with in 2 years. Found out there is no seal/o ring between heating element embeded plug and connector which is not what I expected. Moisture getting in and causing leaky connection. Defa has far better material with a o ring!
Outstanding service from Randy, from inquiring to taking the car home, he made the process very fair and smooth. Never been more satisfied from a dealership than I have with Meidl Honda! Trent was also very helpful with the financial segment. I absolutely recommend them!
