When I needed attention to my concerns not being addressed by the V.A. and my primary there, Dr. Parekh and his staff made sure that they addressed every concern and more. I was immediately diagnosed and am currently still under his long term care. I trust them completely, and in addition to the V.A., to handle my health concerns.
I have been seeing Dr. Parekh for several years. He is a knowledgeable, caring physician. I wish that the staff in his office was as dedicated.
Low to mediocre ability, it's all about the Benjamin's.
Dr. Parekh is an awesome physician who focuses on wellness and prevention. His goal is to keep you healthy rather than throwing another Med your way like so many do. I highly recommend him. He takes all the time you need.
I have been with Dr. Parekh for several years (7+), he is a great doctor but his staff have made being a patient intolerable. His previous physician assistant/manager never returned phone calls, repeatedly lost or forgot to give the doc paperwork or messages. Today, I have had enough. I called to make an appointment a few days ago and was told to see him at 4:30p, I triple checked the time, as I'm a nurse so we always make sure. Got there at 4:30 to be told, that it was for 12:30p. I walked out.
At first I thought he was pretty good because he wasn't ever rushed. But then he gave me questionable advice a couple times that I was able to confirm to be incorrect through another doctor. Also, on 2 occasions I have been left waiting several days for a call back from this doctor when I was sick and in need of a follow up. I would not recommend him to any family or friends.
I always got the feeling like Dr. Mehul Parekh wants you to be healthy rather than become dependent on his services and get an Rx filled. I saw him for years as a teenager and a young adult. I moved away from Jax at one point but will be returning to him, if I need medical attention.
Always listens and takes time to know who you are as a person first. Highly recommend.
Seeing how this survey is about DR. PAREKH and not the office staff, i'd say it's irrelevant how long you had to wait. Dr. Parekh is amazing, knowledgable, and listens. I enjoy going to see him and recommend him to anyone. Oh, and his office staff is pretty awesome too.
