I hate to give three stars but the Medical assistant in the Elmhurst location is very unprofessional. She scratched my baby son with her very long nails and seemed annoyed taking his vitals and was huffing and puffing while performing the EKG. She was the same way a year ago! Dr. Gulecyuz and his nurse practitioner are very knowledgeable and kind. They take their time to hear our concerns and answer all of our questions. Great doctor !

This is our favorite doctor. Caring, bright, concerned and helpful. All the traits you would want in a physician dealing with the most challenging health issues. His NP, Julie, is also stellar. We feel lucky to have our child cared for by this practice. (Be prepared to wait for your appointment time; there are many sick kids to be seen).

Dr. Gulecyuz is hands down the BEST pediatric cardiologist in all of Illinois. He is brilliant, professional, personable, and extremely caring. He takes the time to explain everything in detail and draws out diagrams to ensure that you understand what's going on with your child. He picked up on our son's VSD and Coarctation at 20 weeks, got us in to meet all of the appropriate doctors and got us in to see the Chief Pediatric Cardiology Surgeon at Christ in Oak Lawn who ended up doing the surgery.
