Dr. Mehdizadeh is a good surgeon. But before I was able to schedule my follow up appointment, she became out of network with my insurer and also shut down her old practice. I’ve spent the last 3 months trying to get my medical records from her. I’m a journalist. I know how to navigate bureaucracies to get info. I walked into her new office and filled out the required paperwork. Her new office is a complete mess. knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
I did not get to meet with Dr. Mehdizadeh. Scheduled my appointment in October for a January 4th visit in Tarzana. When I arrived, staff informed me doctor was in West Hills office that day. They made a mistake when scheduling. The only solution they offered was to reschedule in February. So wait another six weeks on top of the two-plus months I've already waited. VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE and no closer to resolving my medical issues. Would rate zero stars.
Always treated very well
She was my urologist until we move out of the area. Smart, warm,knowledgeable, caring. I just called her for a second opinion since we moved. Returned my call promptly and was so helpful. I highly recommend dr. Mehdizadeh!
Dr Mehdizodeh is incredible, warm and so understanding. Explains every detail, never rushed. Love her, but still can't pronounce her name so she is Dr. "M" to me. Don't wait another day... Happy Patient
Incompetent staff, very unfriendly environment.
Dr. Mehdizadeh has a gift for listening and explaining, in a clear, forthright way without talking down to you, what is causing your problem, how best to address it and providing practical advice for resolving it. I only wish I'd consulted her a couple of years earlier. Fabulous experience.
Dr. Mehdizadeh was rushing the day of surgery. Told I wouldn't be completely put under.Taken to surgery room Dr.was not there, just me anesthesiologist, X-ray guy, and one nurse. The nurse asked me if I wanted something for my nerves, told him sure. Next thing I knew, I woke up in the recovery room. Dr. Mehdizadeh left before I woke up. Didn't let me know how it went, or at least call? My follow up appt. I had to asked if every thing went ok. Basically question her for answers? She is too BUSY!
