Came in today for blood work. After 45 minutes waiting I asked if it would take much longer, the front desk woman told me she would let me know after she checked in the other patients. Never got a response. Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes and got up again to ask. The front desk man said the orders were not printed and he could not find the tech. After 10 minutes he came back and said he was going to try to get the tech to stay if not I had to wait until 1 pm! My appointment was at 10 am.
Dr. Shamloo is one of the nicest, most caring doctors I’ve ever been to. Anytime I need a refill, referral, or concern about my health, he’s there for me. I came to Vegas from the east coast. Dr. Shamloo completely restored my faith in doctors. If he leaves Intermountain, I’m following him. He connect with me on a personal level and genuinely cares about bettering my physical and mental health.
Dr. Shamloo had me wait in Henderson Hospital for 9 days for a test to come back to see if I had any cancer cells in my blood. I only saw him one time during my entire stay, and he didn’t even give me the news of the test results. Someone else did. When the test finally came back he said that there were no obvious blasts but that there were abnormal cells and I needed to follow up with a hematologist/oncologist afterward to find out what they are. I constantly, every single month have problem with medication refills. They have cancelled my appt. With Mehdi several times and asked me to do a tele-health not telling me that my insurance doesn’t cover tell-health and I received a large bill. Again, I can not stress enough how irritating it is to have to call in refills monthly several times before a refill is sent over.
Dr Shamloo was great, he is very detail oriented. He found health issues that no other doctor even mentioned before. He is really caring and personable. I would strongly recommend him.
