I have been her patient for over ten plus years and have referred many to her with excellent results for them as well. Dr Kosboth listens, she is through in her examinations and she is extremely knowledgeable about my issues I’m being treated for! She is always kind Pleasant and I never am rushed! She has helped me maintain my mobility in my joints and keeps my inflammation under control! Truly a doctor who really cares about you as an individual not just a diseased patient.

The wait was long to get in like most Ocala docs. I didn't even know I was a diabetic, my A1c was found to be at 10.8 . With her diet tips and meds, A1c is down to 5.9. And I lost 30 lbs, could not ask for a better doctor, have all my family and in laws going to her now
Fired Dr Chen when the nurse took my blood with my arm up in the air. Then Dr Chen comes in to give me a physical and never touch me. I mean No checking heart or lungs. Had some trouble with sugar and she didn't order a A1C . Poor care.

I was assigned to Patel as the Hospitalist when I was a patient in North Florida (HCA) hospital, May 2025. I had a severe case of cellulitis and was unable to bear weight on my leg. It took one and one-half days to see any improvement, which was minimal, on IV antibiotics. Antibiotic was changed for 2 days, still IV ; a little improvement occurred but I was still unable to bear weight and thus walk. Patel told me I 'had to get motivated to walk.' Answered all of my questions and explained everything very well. Took good notes of the visit and made clear all of our options for treatment. She was late seeing us but took her time with us. I didn't mind waiting a few extra minutes.
