I was given this doctor to reach out to per my sons pediatrician: When the woman in the office answered the phone I could barely get my name out let alone any information about my son (aside from his age) before she rudely cut me off and told me they dont see children his age. When I tried explaining to her I was given this specific number to call from my ped she again interuppted me with an extremely rude tone mentioning something in regards to child psychology. Dr. Harper-Shankie is an excellent and thoughtful neurologist. The entire team at her clinic is excellent, knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. If I could give more stars I would.

Doctor Harper-Shankie was wonderful. I’ve never met a Doctor who made the appointment fun. She was very interactive and playful with my daughter. She also, seems very knowledgeable and was helpful getting to the root cause of my daughter headaches. Gluten intolerance, it’s also wonderful to see a doctor who believes in natural pathic treatment. Highly recommend!

No compassion. My son has been waiting for this appointment for 4 months. It took 4 or 5 calls and voicemails to actually be able to speak to someone to make the appointment. I have been staring at the appointment time on my calendar for months. I wrote it down while I was making the appointment. I took the day off work, woke up early, and made sure everything was in place. I was not sent any kind of instructions on where to go once arrived, so I made sure I left early. Fantastic Doctor. We felt as though she was very thorough with her assessment and very personable. We would give her 10 stars. However, her office has had to cancel our appointment several times. That is understandable. This last time, they were unable to reschedule, stating that her next schedule is not out yet. They instructed me when to call back. I have called back 5 times and left messages each time that I am trying to schedule an appointment. I have yet to receive a call back. She ordered an MRI for my child that came ... read more
