I chose Dr. Megha Mendiratta based on her glowing ZocDoc reviews, but now I’m convinced many of them are misleading. I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid what I went through. I was genuinely excited about seeing Dr. Mendiratta, especially as a woman dealing with hormonal imbalance and unexplained weight gain. I always tell people how much I love Dr. Mendirratta. She’s incredibly smart, proactive and accessible. I feel like I am in great hands with her and always recommend her to friends looking for a new GP.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Mendiratta as my PCP for more than 10 years and have truly felt cared for as a patient. She remembers the details of my health history and is patient and thorough in addressing any questions or concerns.
Went to Dr. Mendiratta for years and last years visit was awful - she got short with me when I was explaining symptoms I was experiencing when I couldn’t tell her a pattern- isn’t that the doctors job to identify the pattern or at least help you identify them and do a follow up? Then when referred for an MRI, never got the report from her either. I’ve never felt so shamed by a healthcare provider. Switched primary care docs and will never go back to her again.
