As someone who has lived in DFW for years, I looked at a lot of builders before buying in Anna Capri. What sold me on Megatel was he value. The home, location, and future lagoon community offered more for the money than anything else I found in the North Dallas area. I bought in 2023, and even with all the construction delays and rising costs at the time, Megatel locked in the price at my original contract price. I am current resident in Anna Capri. I bought a home with Megatel in 2023 and had no idea what Anna would be in the future. But the community has all the necessary amenities like Walmart, Walgreens, Gas Pump, Restaurants everything’s in 7 min drive. I personally enjoy the convenience of being so close to Collin county outer loop. Megatel did promise a lagoon. --Structural issues, deceptive pricing, and zero warranty accountability-- I am writing this to warn potential buyers about the deceptive practices and subpar construction of Megatel Homes. While they were eager to close, their post-closing service has been a series of broken promises and "bad faith" stalling tactics.
