Dr. Shatby does not know anything about hip replacements. He operated on my grandmother and it came out of socket TWICE. We asked him why he didnt do an anterior incision and he looked at us like a deer in the headlights and said, "I don't know how." Despite his incapabilities, his bedside manner was terrible. He did not care at all and released my grandma when her hip was dislocated for the second time! Everything we were worried about ended up being legit and he dismissed them all.
Dr. Meena Shatby is an incredibly professional and caring Surgeon. I highly recommend him to everyone.
We've used Dr. Shatby for years for my kids and always liked him. 4 weeks ago he operated on my broken ankle. Since then, my pain has gotten progressively worse. I've tried 3 times to get back in to see him. The first time, a tech took my cast off, said the incision looked fine, and put it back on. Never even saw a nurse. I've called several times since to try to see the doctor. They always say they'll call back, but they never do. When I call, they put me off again. Time for a new dr.
My experince with Dr. Shatby was bad. He did not help my condition
DON'T schedule with Dr. Shatby. I tried to make an appointment 3 times:the receptionists are rude and hung up on me twice! At my appointment, I had to wait more than 1 hr before being seen by the doctor. Then he spent 3 minutes with me. We got interrupted because he had a phone call and that was the end of it. They scheduled me for an MRI which I had done the following day. It's been a week and I'm still in pain and waiting for the dr to call me with the results. I've called twice, no luck!
Dr. Shatby has always very good to explain what my problem is very clear on what needs to be done.
