Looks like I'm not the only one with a bad taste left in the mouth after going to HACKVET!! I no longer have my Buddy due to these money hungry cold people.. Buddy went in because of kidney stones which was $4,416.00. He came home two day's later and I knew something was wrong so my wife took him back and sure enough he was peeing inside himself because his pee cord had a hole in it. Said seven day's in there with a CATHETER to let the hole to heal around and then take it out but of course that would be another $3,500.00. S... read more

I took my pet here and was never informed of the widely spreading Staphylococcus pseudintermedius that is occurring in vet facilities. After surgery, my pet was diagnosed with this, and has suffered for eight weeks now. All that MedVets says is the implant will need removed. This infection is highly resistant to antibiotics and results in in veterinary medicine include patient morbidity/mortality, prolonged hospitalization, increased treatment cost, frustration and grief of pet owners and caregivers alike. Christy Dayton Ohio We took our dog there on a sunday night and back on Wednesday night for the exact same thing and the bill was a $100.00 more on Wednesday.. they sure know how to rip you off. We questioned them about it and they blew us off.. We will not be back there.
