The staff, vet techs, weekend care staff and receptionists are absolutely AWESOME....the Doctor who treated our sick puppy, was extremely arrogant and dismissive....very curt, on the cusp of being rude at times. He spent a total of 10 minutes with my puppy and me before admitting her. He spent more time reviewing the quote of the costs she would incur while staying in his care than anything else, and less than 5 minutes total on the phone with updates and additional fees during her 4-day stay. This is two-fold. Like other reviewers they are extortionists. Not our pet, but when we were in the waiting room, a family came in with a young, DEAD kitten. The little girl (about 10y.o.) had fallen on it and the front desk staff whisked it away to the back, returned and asked the mother if they wanted to have CPR performed. Yes.. is the correct answer! I was referred to Med Vet to see if they could do further surgery on my Jack Russell. He had had a mass cell tumor removed four weeks earlier and it grew back and ruptured. Dr. Valerius, an oncologist, was very frank about the outcome. Very detailed as to our options, and the expected outcome. Staff mostly was excellent, as was the ER. doctor, as we went in at 4am. I took my Yorkie there and she was in critical condition. They did absolutely nothing for her except ask for a $2000 deposit and then they would do an examination of her. It appeared to me all they were interested in was collecting their $158 charge for the emergency visit. I took my yorkie to another site and they were great. They were caring and very informative. While at this other location I spoke with 2 other people that had been to this facility and they agreed with everything I said above.
This place is the worst place ever, if you have a real pet emergency dont take your fur baby here... If you dont have thr money they expect you to pay up frombt they wont treat your fur baby they turned my best friends dying dog away because they didnt have 300 dollars... She lost her fur baby that she had for 9 year's because of this place!!!!!! Worst place ever..
The public should know what a sham this so called hospital is all they care about is money , the vet was a young girl with 1 year of practice my little yorkie was walking and alert when I brought her in she was just throwing up and looked a little weak almost 4 hours later she was in a narcotic induced coma they wanted my credit card and I paid them $495.00 she did absolutely nothing else she wanted $8000.00 upfront , I lost my baby that night I had no choice I couldn't bear to see her suffer if you love your pets stay far a... read more
I have taken several of my dogs there to see the specialists. I have been treated with the upmost respect and honesty. I have had a doctor tell me when test were not necessary and when they were. They recently saved my dogs life. The surgeon was phenomenal and her internal medicine specialist is the best ever. I feel blessed and lucky to have these wonderful people helping my fur babies and myself.
We want to thank you for the great care that you provided our dogs with. They were not scared and loved your staff. You guys have a great vibe and they smelled it :)
