When we got to MedVet in Mobile I was really apprehensive on taking my baby there because we'd never been there and we have never been to a vet ER so I really wasn't sure what to expect but from the time we got there to the time we left they took exceptional care of my Maggie and they made her feel better and they made me and my husband feel better knowing that they took care of our baby because we couldn't get into her vet it's really comforting to know that there is a vet ER that really looks after fur babies and makes the... read more
The staff is amazing. Everyone is so caring.
I brought my 14yo baby in on a Sunday for our first ER visit ever for neurological symptoms I had never seen before. They were busy but very prompt with my concerns and took her right back. She was diagnosed with Geriatric Vestibular Syndrome, given some fluids and meds and we were on our way. The Dr was so nice and helped put my mind at ease to educate me since I had never heard of this. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They charged me $1,300 for one night's stay for my dog and refused to talk to me about her until they had my credit card. Worst vet experience ever.
My dog Tonka had 3 seizures in a 24 hour period, rushed him to MedVet at 4:00am Sunday morning, Labor Day weekend. I called ahead and the receptionist was knowledgeable and comforting. Pets are family and when they are sick it is terrifying because they can’t tell you what hurts. The tech and veterinarian were amazing and great with my dog. They explained that his anxiety meds were causing the seizures and gave me medicines to comfort annd relieve his condition until I could get to Tonka’s vet.
