We haven't gotten to get to this hospital, but we were supposed to have been there. We had been medically accepted, only to have the ball dropped twice and the last possible minute. My active duty military brother had a stroke while in Florida, and is ready for rehab and was accepted by a doctor at Walter Reed and this facility. After all the medical transport was coordinated, the night before, the facility changed their minds and claimed that the continuous antibiotic was not ok for acceptance. cutting all ties with medstar as of today you better hope complete negligence and the carelessness of all your staff doesn’t affect this hospital’s standing but it eventually will.
I am writing to provide feedback on my recent experience with Mr. Chukwuma I. Okeke from MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network, DC. Unfortunately, my interactions with him fell significantly short of the standards I expected from a professional physical therapist. Mr. Okeke demonstrated a lack of basic analytical skills expected of a PT. He proposed solutions without thoroughly understanding the root cause of my issue.
