I had sprained muscles in my neck and back; I also have a weak knee. The staff gave me various exercises to do that over 5 weeks of treatment including home visits by physical therapy specialist substantially improved my posture, balance, and walking ability. The staff were friendly, persuasive and encouraging. That encouraged me to do the exercises on a regular basis.
The ER was extremely busy, but everyone there did a wonderful job. When I was assigned a room in the hospital, the staff there were also wonderful and caring. The only concern I have is why both events were listed as observation and no one bothered to explain the why or explain anything. As this was my first ambo ride, first hospital stay, first CT scan and MRI ever (which I made clear to everyone), that is what surprised me the most.
