“As someone who has worked remote the past 10 years, I’ve stayed at many hotels and plenty of short-term rental properties around the country, this is by far my favorite place to stay. Not only are the views world class, but the amenities including the internet, TV and convenient location to the freeway outstanding but my landlord dropped off delicious homemade meals at my doorstep every so often😋”
Recently I enjoyed a stay at Angelia’s property located on the west side of Capitol Hill. It is a great location boasting incredible views of Lake Union and Queen Ann. The floor plan is open, accentuating the view to be enjoyed, and everything is very comfortable and livable. I have known Angela for many years and she is one the most caring and honest people I have ever met, definitely someone who goes out of their way to be sure you’re getting the best. We stayed at Angela’s beautiful apartment while my daughter was going through treatment at Fred Hutch Cancer Center. The location was so perfect and convenient and it was a wonderful home away from home during a difficult time. Angela is a wonderful host and provided everything we needed. Laundry on site. A full kitchen. Cozy bedroom and gorgeous view of Lake Union.
The only positive aspect of this property is the beautiful view. Unfortunately, the living experience was extremely negative. Angela, the owner and landlord, resides in one of the three on-site units and engages in behavior that goes far beyond reasonable property management. On a weekly basis, she goes through the garbage bins, opens tenants’ trash bags, photographs their contents, and sends the images to tenants along with complaints about what was discarded. Angela made my extended stay truly a home away from home. Everything was wonderfully appointed. The bed was better than what I have at my house. New flat screen TVs, an amazing view, minutes from my now-favorite coffee shop, I can’t say enough great things about the place I called “home away from home”. Angela herself is the friendliest person you will meet and she really wanted me to feel at home. I can’t thank her enough.
