Do NOT use these monitors. Insist on another piece of equipment from your cardiologist. Mine didn't work the entire time I had it. They sent new batteries, but it still would not work. I've used monitors at least a dozen times in my life but this company and their product was AWFUL. I'm reporting this to my insurance company as they were billed 1925 for a product that didn't monitor anything. Ridiculously bad.
Substandard Cellphone and Monitoring device; Bad Cellphone signal while at work caused many hours of non recorded activity. (Now the information that was retained is useless without my nighttime work hours.) Also Monitor device battery only partially drains and then the device says it needs a new battery.(Replaced battery everyday) and Last but not least I would recommend this service to anyone.😡
I don't recommend this product, and I don't trust what they said about the positive opinion and recommendation of patientes.
I received my first monitor from Navicent Health Hospital on Thursday, December 31, 2020 about 10:30 a.m. I was told the battery was fully charged and would last 7 days. That evening at 4:30 p.m. the battery was dead. Telephoned customer service and was instructed that they would mail new batteries. Took a shower during the weekend and it completely stopped working. Check what phone service works best for the location of the individual to be monitored.My wouldn't work the first week,was sent another phone,monitor unit had problems charging.$1,300.00 No thanks,never again!No recommendation from me.
the operators helped me many times via phone. they were not only quick but reassuring.
I have had to contact Medicomp three times since beginning my monitoring session on September 12 due to faulty equipment. The first time, they had to replace the phone and pendant, the second time, the charging cord and now the pendant is not working again. I have already lost four days out of my 30 day session and will now lose another four. This is not acceptable.
