The charge for a 30 MINUTE initial consultation with a gastrointestinal doctor was $611.00. Nothing was done but talking, advice, and another referral. That kind of charge is outrageous and an insult to patients ... and the reason we are hesitant to go to or trust health care systems.
That would have been the Marquette University Medical School.
Love the staff at both clinic and PT. Easy check in and seeing my doctor. I continue PT from my second surgery this year. Mark is the best!
Love the care but billing for both the hospital & MD for a clinic visit doubles the cost. That has put me off going to the dr for everything from yearly checkup to cancer follow up. Ditch the hospital based clinics & go back to physician based clinics!
