The “provider” who “helped” me in triage was extremely unprofessional and rude. She told me they were unable to help me (someone with severe health concerns). Her name was Ken? Still waiting on a call back from Medical City staff to file this complaint. Please go to Presbyterian as Medical City does not care.
I went through preregistration process five times. My doctor said I will be released in one hour at 9:am , but eventually I was released 6 hours later at 3pm. They kept me in there for no reason, I guess to charge my insurance more. The room was either cold or hot when the AC came on blew cold draft all over my face and when it went off it was so warm that I sweat a lot and the food was terrible. I hope I never have to go back to that hospital.
This hospital is just not what it used to be. They had essentially saved my life as a teenager in the Children's Hospital - for that I have to thank Dr. Gregorcyk and Dr. Russo. They are exceptional, compassionate, caring, kind, and one of the only good things about this hospital. The nurses during my most recent hospital stay: Kelcie, Logan, Jennika, and Robbie were some of the best nurses I have ever had. People who attended the front desk were very polite and friendly with me!! And the tech was great!!!
