Stuck in recovery for an extra 4 hours with nothing to eat because there are no rooms. Nurses are nice but this is ridiculous!

After spending months in the SICU fighting cancer, my husband passed away several months ago at Med City Dallas. I’ve started this review so many times I can’t count, but I was so mentally drained, I kept pausing it. I wish I could say my beautiful husband got the best care. Really great care from the staff at this hospital.
With reservations. Great facility, but a bunch of insensitive numbnuts in the ER. A friend of mine who recently lost her home in a recent tornado came in due to severe pain in her leg. Not only was she not treated, they refused to give her a blanket when she requested it. The staff treated her like she was anything but a patient in need of help. Very inconsiderate and rude. Have had several successful procedures done there. Love the place. And now have 3 Dr. that I regularly visit for appointments.
I went to their urgent care and was told there that I needed to go to the main hospital ER to be admitted. I have several severe conditions and despite having a complicated medical history I only saw a physician’s assistant who discharged me despite two other actual physicians saying I needed to be admitted, as I don’t have the immune system to fight an infection with regular antibiotics.
