Been taking all 3 of my children since my oldest was 9 months old. Even when I moved across town 8 years ago, I loved them so much, I drive the 30 minutes when I need to. My kids are 13, 11, and 9 and the two youngest have been going since birth. Best part is when I need any type of visit, I can see Dr Cardenas that day. They usually try to schedule it 15 minutes later and I have to remind them I live in Converse so they get my kids in 45 minutes after I call. Don't believe all the fake reviews, yesterday I just took my 2 children for a simple visit for a concern that I had and everything turned out normal, no treatment was done and they charged me $313 after insurance. Also, my son got a flu shot and now he has a bruise on the spot where he got the shot and his leg is swollen. Will be taking him to an urgent care because even an urgent care clinic has better pricing than them.
all the doctors take the time to get to know the things the children are going through whether its a yearly well check up or symptoms of an ear infection... they are attentive to the children's needs. i found Doctor Garza after a poor experience with my pediatrician before him. i am so glad i found this place. my kids do not fight me to go to the doctor and they love Miss Lucy (Dr Garza's assistant) oh yes and being open on some Saturdays has been so helpful. i always recommend them to parents i know looking for a pediatrici... read more

Dr. Jose A. Cardenas and his staff are very friendly. The office is clean and well staffed. I have recommended him to many family members and friends and none have been disappointed. Same day appointments and walk ins. I can't say enough. We have been with him for 18 years.
Dr. Garza has been our pediatrician since my girls were babies. He is attentive and thorough. He and Lucy are just the best!
