I first met with Mr. Shields in Jan. of this yr. He assured me he would have me credentialed and my billing up and running by April. April came and I started seeing clients. Come to find out, he hadn't even started the process! I was shocked and literally in tears! He did apologize so I gave him another chance, but his communication and follow up continued to be false promises and slick talk. Why would I then trust him to collect my money? Agree with Arnon wholeheartedly. Steve Shields was in charge of my billing and over the two years I was with the company, there were countless billing errors, claims never being filed and several software issues affecting my compensation. Billing was initially consistent, but after a year, it was haphazard. Found out he never reattested my CAQH and I was never credentialed with commercial insurance carriers. If I could give less than one star I would. This is the WORST billing company out there. For two years, our practice encountered countless billing errors, claims slipping through the cracks, some clients were never billed for their coinsurance, no help in resolving denied claims, among dozens of other issues all of which stemmed from pure laziness and inexperienced workers at the helm.
