I am currently sitting outside of one of your locations in Trussville, Al. I arrived at 5:35pm and pulled to open the door only to see that the door was locked. The receptionist told me they were closed. I informed her it wasn’t 6pm yet and she then said again they were closed and that the doctor told her to say so. This is ridiculous. If you are not going to hold true to your hours of operations then why post them. I will be writing a review on Yelp and other sites. I have been a diabetic patient of Doctor Yu for years. He listens and works with me and assists me in managing my medical issues. But, I also want to thank the staff at Medhelp Trussville. My appointment this month included intake by Ashley Harrison and lab personnel Crystina Jackson, both are great. Both women are wonderful, funny personalities that makes your visit in a medical situation comfortable and at ease. Thanks to Dr Yu and to the staff of Medhelp Trussville.
Staff is always friendly. I use Trussville's Urgent Medhelp location for kids and myself. Miesha was excellent and made my daughter feel extremely comfortable.
Don't go here for a COVID test. They charged me for 2 office visits plus the COVID test which was covered by insurance. I never even got out of my car, just pulled into a parking spot and got a swab. They are running a scam on COVID testing. Nobody is charging an office visit for a drive through COVID test.
[[GO ANYWHERE ELSE]] [[HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE]] [[HIPAA CONCERNS]] I made an appointment for a COVID test, was on time and waited for 45 minutes in the parking lot as instructed. Out of nowhere, a vehicle drives up to the curb of a side door and was immediately tested by a staff that went straight back inside without testing any of the other patients that had been waiting in their turn. Dr. Yup is my PCP. I have been seeing him for about 6 yrs. He's a wonderful Dr. I can discuss anything that is going on with my health with him. He's always cheerful and friendly. His staff is great. Sam is a MA. There she is really great at drawing blood. She's very patient and thorough. Matt is great also. I have always been pleased with Dr. Yup and his staff. I have recomended him to family members as well as friends and neighbors. I'm so thankful that he is my Dr. Ann McGaughy
