Awful experience immediately after surgery with the PACU/Post-Op nurses. Truly a group of miserable mean girls who give nurses a bad name. As a registered nurse myself I am completely disgusted with the behavior of Medarva Stony point surgery center's PACU nurses.
Unless you can afford to pay upfront when they try to double-dip from both you and your insurance by incorrectly upcoding your procedure, go elsewhere! My surgery isn’t until 11/3, but their billing department has been a nightmare. I’m seriously considering canceling and changing providers. Prior to choosing a surgeon for my bilateral salpingectomy, I made sure my BCBSTX insurance covered it, which they do at 100% with no copay, no coinsurance, and no deductible because it is classified as “female sterilization” and paid ou... read more
