The hell with this urgent care. I came from work before it was closing time I know I was cutting it close but it was before closing. I came to get looked at when I was in a lot of pain due to the lump on my back and they pretty much told me to get out. I get I cut it close on time but still it was before closing time. They close at 5 and I walk in at 4:50 in a lot of pain and they denied helping me. I don’t recommend going to this urgent care.
I have been experiencing increasingly worsening pain in my back near my kidneys. I have not been doing anything strenuous due to the pain. I went to MedAccess Urgent Care in Youngsville to rule out a kidney infection. Worth checked me in and then also was the medical assistant who took my vitals and ran my urine test. Worth was amazing! I would not suggest going here. The staff made me feel like an inconvenience. Chelsea Mcnally was the doctor that saw me and misdiagnosed me. When I asked her to change my prescription because the medication she prescribed didn’t work for me she said she would and then failed to. I ended up in the ER the next day, The doctor at the ER said it was good that I came in when I did because it could have been fatal and was “disappointed that there were people working in healthcare with such little regard for people’s health.” If y... read more
I just visited the clinic this morning and was treated by Dr Bordeaux. I cut myself yesterday on a chain link fence playing pickleball and was concerned about a potential infection and the fact that I had not had a tetanus shot in 20 years. Dr Bordeaux was very attentive to my concerns and ordered up a tetanus shot on the spot plus called in an antibiotic to my pharmacy. I am not one to leave reviews, but happy with my visit today. & Dr. Bordeaux deserves the praise. He listened to my concerns, showed compassion & helped find a good resolution for the pain I’ve been in for 6 days when I’ve felt ignored by my dentist! A doctor who show he cares for his patients. I highly recommend!
