When you buy up a small, community based bank, you should probably treat your inherited customers with a little more respect. Stop trying to be Bank of America.
Mechanics is the worst!!!! They recently purchased Scott Valley Bank in Mt Shasta. I've been a happy business customer there for 23 years. Mechanics gave me a 30 day notice, they were closing my account because my business is ATM sales and service related. While an audit of my account clearly proves there is no money laundering or other illegal activity, in Mechanic's view the nature of my business lumps me with drug dealers and terrorists. This bank is unreasonable to send an overdraft email 4 DAYS AFTER! And UNREASONABLE to not have the ability to connect other bank accounts to be able to transfer money from one back into Rabobank. I am so frustrated with this bank!
Our account had a levy due to back child support. Guess what my husband pays over $1500 a month in child support . Plus extra for back payment . But Rabobank’s lawyers levied our account and can take money out whenever they so choose the money that they took out DOES NOT EVEN GO TO BACK CHILD SUPPORT . It goes to the “lawyers” who represent Rabobank !!!! I talked to many people and this is sooooo not cool other banking branches don’t do that .
