Loan department in this bank is horrible I’ve had nothing but bad interaction with this bank took money out for my insurance payment put into escrow account did not pay insurance company insurance company canceled my insurance when I called to get it straightened out I got pushed off from one company to another spent six hours of my time trying to solve the problem and in the end had to pay the insurance myself and get reimbursed the money working on That saga now in short hate this bank

I am the bookkeeper for 2 companies, which together have 4 accounts with Mechanics (previously with Rabobank). I have to say, their online bill pay system is quite terrible. Not intuitive. The design forces extra and unnecessary steps. Has scenarios in which it will not allow me to put a memo on a check, so therefore I cannot use the system to pay a simple gas bill. Etc. Etc. The system needs scrapped and rewritten (and I'm saying this from the perspective of having worked in IT for over 15 years).

Mechanics bank has withdrew money from my elderly mothers account TWICE. Then charged her two transfer/overdraft fees. It's been 11 days and all she's gotten is the run around. Still out a significant amount of money with no end in sight. Unbelievable lack of customer service. Is this how mechanics treats some of our most vulnerable people, on fixed incomes at that? Stealing their money, charging them because they then don't have the money, causing ridiculous amounts of stress, and rude representatives on top of that? disgus... read more

Get me access to my account. have ANYONE answer the local phone. Get a programmer that can make your software work. Rabo did not stress me out mechanics is causing me duress.
hire a programmer that is capable of merging bank information!
