Funny how they say on the website that they take the customer's security seriously. Rmember when the bank put all the customer's information on a laptop and left it in a car where it was stolen. When we asked the bank for a year of credit monitoring to protect ourselves from the bank's mistake, we were told "we thought about it, and the answer is no"

I have used banks throughout the world. Even where I was not a citizen of the country, much less a regular bank customer, no bank has ever refused to change small amounts of their national currency into smaller denomination bills or coin in this case, $30, until I visited the Albany branch of Mechanics Bank. This is always accepted as a public service, especially where public resources are used to insure their deposits.
