Patient on Medicare was in the hospital for 4 days before going into hospice. Hospital charged almost $75000 for the 4 days and submitted the claim to Medicare coded as hospice. Medicare did not pay anything needless to say. Then claim was sent to Medicare coded correctly this time and Medicare paid almost $17000 and the copay was covered by Tricare for Life. Their Secretary by the name of Kelly is extremely disrespectful and rude! They also don't allow you in the ER with someone who is diagnosed with Dementia although they are under doctors orders to never be left unattended! Horrible hospital and staff!

From the moment I arrived at er I was treated with the utmost of professionalism. I was quickly checked in and taken to an exam room. I really felt everyone , Jen (RN), Sue (PCT) and Kim (PA)could not have been more skilled, responsive and compassionate dealing with me. They worked together as one of the most collegial teams I have experienced. I left with my needs met, my questions answered and my confidence in these medical professionals strengthened. I went in with blood pressure 232/139 . Was brought back to a room , dr came in and left. I was there for 2 hours with a bad infection in my face and my blood pressure so high and no one came to give me anything to help with the blood pressure or pain in my face. I finally opened the door to find someone and there sat the Dr with a group of nurses around him all of them laughing and joking around. I left and will not return! Shameful , being there 2 hours by myself I could of stroked out and no one would have noticed!
