From my experience, Mean Bean makes the best cappuccino in Galena. Both times I was in, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a good selection of tea and coffee accessories, but in such a small location it leads to a slightly cluttered atmosphere. Great products, but I'd have liked to see a little more room to enjoy them. Regardless, I will definitely be returning!
Over 200,000 varieties. All Roasted. Smells Devine. Tried some coffee, very good. Purchased, Sumartran, Ethiopan, and Panama Coffee. All, Extremely Bold and Beautiful smell.

About three years ago, I discovered Mean Bean Coffee. I was not a big coffee drinker, until I tried the chocolate caramel kiss. Oh my goodness. I was sold. I have since moved from the area but I now order on line! I love Mean Bean you will too!
I am a coffee geek. When I walked in to Mean Bean, the amazingly rich smell knocked me off my feet. Wonderful choices and friendly proprietors: you can't go wrong. My favorite (so far): Black Magic. Huzzah!
My husband has tried to get me to drink coffee for 30 years and hasn't happened til we walked into Mean Bean and I found "Slippery Nuts". It's amazing and the service is fabulous too!!!!
