Im a pickey eater so while workin in new orleans eating out was hard to do when most people cook with seafood and pork as a main souce of season and there food. Meals from the heart is a great place to dine when you are in new orleans.. the owners are people persons and are very nice.. i strongly advise anyone who lookin for good heatlhy food to check out meals from the heart where the staff are nice and the food is to die for.... really enjoy myself there.... ;)
Had the best lunch! The homemade sauce.
I was looking for a vegan breakfast spot during my recent trip to NOLA and discovered this little beauty nestled in the farmer's market. The vegan pancakes and vegan apple sausages were amazing! They hit the spot perfectly. And the gentleman working the counter was so sweet and hospitable. Next time I find myself in town I know where I will be dining for breakfast.
