I wish I could give more stars. We first visited New Orleans in October of 2015. I was looking online for gluten free places to eat and came across this gem. We were back in NOLA this past weekend and just had to visit Meals from the Heart again. LOVE LOVE LOVE the gluten free crab cakes!! This will forever be a stop of my husband and mine every time we visit this city. Hands down the nicest people working there and the name says it all!! Amazing food made from the heart Thanks for all that you do!

This place makes my heart happy! Fabulous gluten free options, and staff who are sure to make you smile. And VEGGIES!!! They do exist here!
I had the crab cake and poached egg. The crab cake was delicious. I had a 1/2 orange 1/2 carrot fresh juice. Waited a little for the food because it is all made to order. Worth the wait. Also while you wait the bring you orange wedges a nice little touch.
My family stopped at Meals From the Heart Cafe this Sunday for the first time. We unknowingly showed up right at closing, but when the lovely Miss Revia heard that I was gluten free, she said, "I don't want you eating anywhere else. Let us take care of you!" The wonderful staff started the kitchen back up, and made a gorgeous meal not just for me, but for my whole family too! We were absolutely blown away by the incredible kindness of the entire staff.
