I needed to see see someone about a persistent sinus infection/headache. My regular NP at Baptist had just left her practice so i called BH and was able to see NP Caton the next morning. I was quite satisfied with the way that she conducted the examination and decided to request her as my regular Nurse Practitioner.
I rated this visit exceptional, however, I when the RN asked “would you like something to take and my response was no, she went ahead and prescribed an antihistamine.. Maxwell AFB texted me to pick up the (Levocetirizine) 5 mg. I am very careful when meds say may cause drowsiness which I have experienced passing out and a broken toe as a result.. Please honor my wishes if I saw I don’t want meds when I am already taking a nasal inhaler and cough syrup that is working fine for me.
