Dr. Slate is the best ob gyn I have ever had. She listens to her patients! She gives you all the information you need to make informed decisions about your health. I am 8 weeks post op from a hysterectomy and she has patiently answered every question I had without making me feel silly. I have recommended her to my friends and family. Dr. Slate is truly a gem.
My only hesitation in giving Dr Slate 5 stars is because I don’t want her to become so busy that I don’t get to see her! Dr Slate is compassionate, respectful of your wishes regarding your body, and completed a typically very challenging procedure with ease and speed. I would recommend her to anyone looking for gyn care, (if I wasn’t concerned about her getting too booked. 😄). I have had some issues with the billing department, but it’s still worth it for her care.
Dr. Slate is absolutely amazing! She answered all my questions and was amazing at easing anxieties! Trans friendly and a good sense of humor!
I consider myself blessed to have Dr. Slate as my doctor and also as my surgeon when I recently had surgery a few weeks ago. I am an anxious patient and Dr. Slate was able to calm my nerves and help to provide the best options for my care. She is open and communicated everything so clearly about my surgery and every visit in between. I am in the last stages of my recovery and have never felt better. Incredibly caring and the follow up is unbelievable. She called a week after I had surgery for something that had nothing to do with her but she knew was going to take place just to see how I was doing. Unheard of!
