The 4 - 5 seats across the reception counter had only 3 people. Upon walking in no one greeted or addressed us that anyone would be right with us. The waiting area is cold and staff is not pleasant. The doctor seemed to not care about Uncle's issues and passive with answers. I will find another neurologist, with more professionalism and whose caring. Uncle deserves far more than what this place offers.
Terrible experience. Dr. Elehein lacked basic compassion, listening skills and she tried to invalidate our concerns. We will never return. Jefferson Health needs to re-introduce bedside manner as one of the qualifications for a physician and ESPECIALLY those in the field of Neurology. This whole experience has been deeply disturbing and traumatic.
First visit, I forget the Drs name but he was very nice. Will definitely go back as needed.
Patient beware....terrible experience!!! They do not let you select your neurologist. Just found out my "assigned" Dr. is not in network. They did nothing to rectify it like "assigning me to someone who is. As bad, my records were sent there from a retiring doctor and they did NOTHING to help me obtain them. Gave me a bunch of numbers where noone answered. I made this appointment months ago....feels very bait and switch to me. Now I have to start all over.
I was referred to this practice by my primary physician. I was seen by a woman named Rania Abou Elehein, MD. She was rude and dismissive. She didn’t take my symptoms seriously and acted like I was wasting her time just by being there. I believe her behavior was totally unacceptable.
