Occupying a clover-colored store front and brimming with humble furnishings, including church pews, the Mead Street Station knows exactly what it takes to be a neighborhood meeting place: good conversation and good beer. Kick back to live jazz and blues on most nights. The place also has a healthy display of western paintings. For appetizers, try the delicious Mead St. Mussels and Artichoke Dip. There are many kinds of homemade soups including chili. The Dublin Fish and Chips are a must. Steaks, sandwiches, pastas and burger... read more

A Highlands joint that serves classic pub food with enough eclectic food experiments to please the diverse neighborhood crowd. – In Short This bustling spot has the feel of an English pub in its creaky wooden booth benches. The basic pub fare includes signature fish-and-chips, thick burgers, beer-battered onion rings and a brat-and-kraut sandwich. But it's the experimental items that make it worth a visit: The Cock-A-Doodle-Bleu features a marinated chicken breast with bleu cheese and bacon on a kaiser roll.
I'm a regular. – Mead Street Station is one of my greatest discoveries. The food is amazing, the live music is fun and the location is great! Did I mention the amazing food? You will find a good variety of food here, all of it is very good. I always get the southwest tuna (blackened with pesto) rare and a bowl of green chili - this is one of my favorite dishes ever! The ambience is nice albeit congested. They have good beers on tap and they carry local seasonal brews. Top off your night by going to nearby Mondo Vino and pick... read more
Love it! – Ah, Mead Street. How you enchant me with your tasty blackened tuna, your fish and chips, your delicious brews. Very much enjoyed the jazz band on Saturday night. This place has exactly the kind of ease that you need in a neighborhood bar and grill. I've had business lunches, romantic dinners, and just a few (or more) rounds of drinks here. Never disappoints.
Mead St Station is excellent for casual dining – Great food and service. Menu selection is excellent. And the place is totally non-smoking!
As a neighbor, we really value the consistancy of this restaurant. The food , service, and music make this place a Neighborhood Treasure. Although smoking is allowed, as a non-smoker, the air system is great and not a bother. Maybe being closed on Sundays allows the owner needed rest to maintain her quality as she oversees every move in the kitchen. A rarity these days, when an owner is so hands on the food.
The "Best" – Great Food & Atmosphere...Tasty & Interesting menu & cold beer! Great Owner/ Operators! Just a super treat! Lots of regulars!
I love this Bar – Everthing's GREAT - Food - Burgers - Artichoke Dip - Fettucine - Garlic-Butter Snowpeas - Ice Cold Beer and above all - the atmosphere and service -
Best casual food around – This place is great. It's a favorite neighborhood hangout, but it's worth the drive as well. I've been there many times and I've never had a bad meal. Try the fish and chips; they're the bomb.
Delicious Pub Grub – Great place for a burger with friends or a casual glass of wine after dinner.
