Occupying a clover-colored store front and brimming with humble furnishings, including church pews, the Mead Street Station knows exactly what it takes to be a neighborhood meeting place: good conversation and good beer. Kick back to live jazz and blues on most nights. The place also has a healthy display of western paintings. For appetizers, try the delicious Mead St. Mussels and Artichoke Dip. There are many kinds of homemade soups including chili. The Dublin Fish and Chips are a must. Steaks, sandwiches, pastas and burger... read more

I do not often drink, so mostly I go to Mead for the food, which is incredible to say the least. They have a soup called "Beer cheese soup" which is the best thing you will ever taste and is proprietary to Mead Street as far as I know, so you will not taste it anywhere else. If you want an incredible atmosphere with great food and drinks, this is your place !! The new owner has figured out how fuse modernization without losing the feel of the beautiful old building. I noticed it is also very family friendly most of the day w... read more
This was one of my favorite placed to have dinner and drinks with friends. The menu has changed and so did the food quality! The only think that is close to being the same are the gravy fries. We use to have to wait for a table most nights and it was worth the wait but now there was no wait and now I know why. If the new owner is reading this please bring back the old menu, the nightly specials and the good food. If it was working well why change it! I won't go back until I know it's worth it again!
The customer service is TERRIBLE! They have signs outside that say $3 drinks during happy hour, but don't honor them. The owner is condescending at best. There are lots of great restaurants in the Highlands, but this is not one of them. Don't give business to this awful restaurant!
This is my favorite place...period! – I love this place. Even when it is busy. They don't care on what color of hair or eyes you have. I'll choose this fun and laid back place over anything. However, the sushi place across the street gets my attention too! Love there sweet potato fries!
Poor Customer Service – On october 24th at around 2:30 in the afternoon my two girlfriends and i went to lunch at the mead street station, which was recommended to us by my girlfriend who had lunch there about a week ago with her coworkers. We walked in and it was crowded, i think there was only one table available so my friends and i seated ourselves. After sitting there for about fifteen minutes with out any acknowledgement what so ever, my friend made a comment saying ,if we don't get any service we are leaving. Just then... read more
This place goes to 11 – Found this place on Citysearch during a recent trip to Denver. I read a good review of their ribs and my waitress also recommended them, so I gave them a try. My dinner was served very quickly and I was very pleased with my selection. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and very tasty. The green beans were fresh and had good flavor, with a sprinkling of crushed almonds and the mashed potatoes had a hint of garlic. The half slab I ordered was nearly as big as most other restaurants' full slabs. I le... read more
Best Pub in town! – We LOVE this place. It is perfect for a easy going date night or going out with friends. Friday and Saturday nights get busy so arrive early and parking can be a mess, but the food, beer, and prices are worth the wait and the parking frustration.
The best BBQ ribs in Denver! Great food, Relaxing atmosphere, Friendly Staff, Live Music – Mead Street Station is my favorite pub in Denver! Located just North of the intersection of 32nd and Lowell on 32nd Ave, I highly recommend Mead Street for your next pub night. If you like BBQ Ribs...Meade serves the best ones I have ever tasted!
Best Burger! – I really love eating here, the biggest problem is that they don't have enough space to fit all thier tables, which are always packed!
