The incorrectly coded my virtual visit with Cigna to get money out of me. This was a routine care virtual appointment, and they coded it as therapeutic services for something different just to get money out of me.
The speed & availability of Psychiatry & therapy is verified quickly. So far my Dr & Therapist are great BUT their billing methods are very inaccurate. Make sure ur copay if any is correct b4 confirming any appts. And remember there is a cancelation policy that comes with a fee! READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY!
Set an appointment said it would be 5 min but then an automated machine kept calling saying they were waiting for a provider then I called them for the lady to tell me probably should make an appointment at urgent care afyer filling out paperwork and waiting 2hours should've used Sesame like I always do but Aetna covers this crap company rather pay out of pocket with Sesame..
I used MDLIVE and had an absolutely awful experience. Honestly, calling it “bad” doesn’t even cover it. The entire process has been beyond frustrating from start to finish. The doctor never enabled messaging, so anytime there was an issue, I had to go through customer service, which literally took days just to get someone on the phone. On top of that, I was transferred multiple times, often to overseas call centers, and spent over an hour on the phone more than once just trying to get help. Don’t even want to provide one star but had to to post. I’ve even been nice and not made this post until now… Have had a whole chaotic fiasco with MDLive since December 2025. They denied my insurance and required me to self pay for a therapy and psychiatrist session even though it should have been covered. App says it was covered, my insurance said it was covered, etc. Even booked these original appointments directly through my Cigna app with the co-pay listed for them as $0.
