Dr. Stifelman is a very professional, caring and compassionate surgeon who is well renowned & who truly cares more about his patients than just operating, if there is no need to do surgery at this time. He takes time to explain the test results and procedures, and you never feel rushed. My husband has been his patient for a year now, and today I was thrilled to meet him. Dr. Stifelman saved my mother’s life. He led a team of surgeons in a 7+ hour incredibly complicated operation that, when described to me seemed like a Hail Mary attempt to prolong her life. As soon as I met Dr. Michael Stifelman, I knew he was the surgeon that I would choose to do my robotic partial nephrectomy operation. I did a lot of research and met with many doctors, there is no doubt he is the best surgeon in his field. We did not know Dr. Stifelman. Based on recommendation from the pediatric urologist for our teen son, we called Dr. Stifelman. He gave us appointment with just one phone call request. He explained to us about the robotic procedure (partial nephrectomy) for our son's one kidney and performed the procedure successfully.. Dr Stifelman is highly skillful and experienced with robotic procedures. He has great confidence in his own abilities. After a couple of years of “active surveillance”, my PSA numbers indicated It was time to seek treatment for my prostate cancer. I had a consultation with a very well respected doc about the radiation option (I was not a candidate for Cyperknife), and then I spoke to Dr. Stifelman. Dr. Stifelman was very comforting and put my concerns at ease with his confidence and ability to perform the needed surgery. His office staff (PA Suzannah Sorin) was very helpful both before and after my surgery. I was given a very fast appointment once I called the office and was given very clear instructions for pre-surgery and post surgery.

The worst office staff I have ever dealt with!! In 1 afternoon I call the office 3 times and couldnt get through! My daughter who is in the medical field finally got thru and was laughed at by a male employee a d was told that they have alot of pacients and we have to wait our turn!! It isnt something you say to a person that has 3 tumors on there bladder. Stay away@!!
