They charged $1,020 for a procedure that was covered by insurance. They never sent me a break down of what the charge is for and have without discussion or clarification sent it to collections. I never agreed or signed any documentation to allow this company or any company to do a pathology on my tissue or agree to any costs. My tissue was taken and provided to this company without my consent while under anesthesia. Criminal.
Awful people to deal with and whole system is scam.
I received an email on 1/27/25 saying that I had a bill due of $61. I called, and they said it was for a diagnostic test ran on 10/22/24. This diagnostic test would have been covered by my insurance since it was for a pregnancy-related visit which I had already paid my copay for. They claimed that I was getting the bill because they tried to bill my insurance but didn't receive a response within 45 days from the insurance, so then the bill defaulted to me. Who are they? I never even been to that facility. Now they sent me a bill of $1,000 something. Can I go ahead and sue them?
