The new MDNOW walk-in clinic in Port Charlotte will be subject to a professional complaint by myself. Another low-quality rip-off to be avoided. I went there for infected tonsils. I then got a bill for $300 more than my insurance carrier had contracted. I contacted MDNow along with my insurance company who informed them that my bill was $187, not $487. Four months of wrong bills come in looking to overcharge me and 4 months of calling trying to correct the situation. Finally a correct bill of $187 arrives which is paid that very same day. Front desk women are very kind and helpful.Sorry, but the woman doing blood pressure means well, but has difficulty listening and understanding.I had four positive tests at home. I do understand that readings are supposed to be more accurate in the clinic, However, I didn’t feel completely confident while watching her administer the test.I also realize that I’m not the only person with medical concerns, but I was at the clinic for one and one half hour. because there were two patients and the nurse told me that I would have to wait. 1 hour and 30 minutes and I told her I'll be back in an hour and she told me that if another patient arrives, her wait was longer, so I had to cancel.
My sister had a cut in her finger at work during her lunch time and I took her to md now urgent care on Hallandale beach boulevard, I just want to say a big thanks to Jose the young African American that was assisting the doctor to do my sister stitches, it was in the middle of the procedure the doctor told me that he's doing his residency and I was shock for him to do his training on me. I found the Urgent Care to be very professional. The nurse took a thorough medical history pertaining to my injury. They were able to take an X-ray at this facility so they could give me a diagnosis. The doctors explained everything so I could understand.
Very caring staff. Dr was very good
I felt like crap at 103.2 temp and felt like the dr was taking his time. I heard him talking in the hallway. Now that is a feeling from someone really sick. So the time may have been appropriate. Just felt like days.
