Can't describe how amazing the people at MDA are! It is such a fine tuned facility. They have thought of everything right down to a help number inside the toilet stall if you need assistance in there. Just call...help will come...the stall is numbered! (And there are plenty of people there who might need assistance.) I'm so thankful my hubby is getting FIRST CLASS CARE at M.D.Anderson! No wonder people come here for Cancer Treatment!
The docs and nurses are great. The ancillary staff sucks. SEVEN times wealled for an appointment. SEVEN!!! We called patient advocacy and everyone we could think of. The person who finally got us some assistance laughed and said we were just experiencing the usual MD Anderson incompetency. The idiot at the desk looked at the guy ahead of us, asked his name and STILL put on a different patient's ID bracelet...a woman, no less. If my husband were not mandated by his health plan to use the center, I'd find another place.

We have been coming to MDA since 2012 and so thankful to live close to the best medical care possible. From the valet parking to the doctors, we have always been treated with the kindest of care and respect. In 2012, my husband, a stage 4 cancer patient was given 6-12 months to live. But his MDA doctors never gave up on giving him the best care and treatment possible. It's 2017, and my husband is in remission. We praise God for MD Anderson.
Unfortunately I had to be there for cancer txment w my late husband But the Drs & staff were wonderful They were informative & kind This was over a 2 year period 95-97
